About Me

I am currently a Ph.D. student in the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), co-supervised by Dr. Qingqing Ye and Prof. Haibo Hu (ASTAPLE). I obtained my Master’s degree from the college of Computer Science and Technology at Harbin Engineering University in 2023, advised by Prof. Rui Chen. Prior to this, I received my Bachelor’s degree in the department of Computer Science at North China Electric Power University.
My research interests include data privacy (with a focus on differential privacy), and trustworthy machine learning.
My studies focus on differential privacy (DP)—a de facto standard for individual privacy protection—in both centralized and federated settings. Specifically, I design algorithms to address fundamental and practical problems under DP, such as identifying top-k frequent items or collecting trajectory data. I am also interested in privacy-preserving machine learning, though I am not an expert :)
